AAPDEP: Donate Old Cell Phones

Donate Your Phones/Done Su Telefono

YOU CAN SUPPORT OUR ORGANIZATION BY DONATING YOUR

USED CELL PHONES WHILE HELPING SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT

FROM TOXIC WASTE!

Reasons to help this cause:

We’re not asking you for cash donations!

Donations of your unwanted cell phones can mean support for our organization which serves to bring together the skills of all African people to empower our communities together through sustainable projects such as community gardening, rain water harvesting, and health improvement.

By recycling your phones with us it could mean less colonial and foreign aggression in the Congo to obtain the mineral used to make cell phones, Coltan.

You will be giving old technology new life and keep it from polluting our landfills. If improperly disposed of, one cell phone can pollute up to 132,000 liters of drinking water. Your unwanted cell phones will be recycled or refurbished and reused.

Your donation is tax deductible.

ALL cell phones are accepted. Below is a listing of preferred cell phones:

iPhones, Blackberry, Ericsson, HTC, LG, Motorola, Nextel, Nokia, Palm, Samsung, Sharp
